Akiva, a developer of collaboration technology, has announced the immediate availability of a new version of WebBoard, the company's Web-based collaboration server. Other WebBoard features include Web-based discussion forums, email discussion lists, News (NNTP) discussions, instant messaging, chat rooms, and whiteboards. WebBoard has integrated all of these tools into one Microsoft Windows-based server, which provides access control, moderation, reporting, searching, and customization across all of the tools. Pricing for WebBoard starts at $3,995 for a single server license that supports up to 500 concurrent users. Akiva offers free standard support and optional premium phone support and upgrade protection. Upgrade pricing from previous versions of WebBoard is also available.
