Agora Technology Buys Two Websites

May 11, 2010

Agora Technology, a Houston-based business group, announced the purchase of two webistes, TweepML and Qwitter, that provide external services on Twitter that are not available on the microblogging site's main page.

TweepML is an extensible, open standard format that allows users to manage, share, and follow groups of Twitter users. TweepML offers several such lists for posting on an external website. Qwitter notifies the user whenever someone stops following a given Twitter account.

Agora is offering several premium services with the relaunch of both sites, including faster email notifications, ad removal, and a featured user function.
