Adobe Systems, Inc. and Amazon Web Services, LLC announced the availability of Adobe Flash Media Server 4 software on the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), part of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Adobe Flash Media Server on AWS allows users to deliver media experiences without the upfront investment of a full server license. Small to mid-sized publishers, social media developers, large-scale enterprise deployments, or customers creating one-time events can use Adobe Flash Media Enterprise Server 4 on a pay-as-you-go model that is based on user demand with AWS.
Adobe Flash Media Server on AWS enables customers to deploy and manage live and on-demand content across multiple platforms and mobile devices. With Adobe Flash Media Server on AWS, customers can use the full feature set of Adobe Flash Media Enterprise Server 4 without the upfront investment in software licenses. Deployment is scalable; customers pay only for server time and data transfer used.
