Adobe unveiled its new Adobe Digital Enterprise Platform, a modular, open, standards-based platform that delivers digital customer experience management (CEM) solutions via social, web, mobile, and print. Designed to connect marketing and IT, the platform offers a set of Customer Experience Solutions that enterprises can use to enhance customer experiences for acquisition, retention, and brand advocacy. The Customer Experience Solutions offerings include integrated content review, web experience management, customer communications, social brand engagement, selection and enrollment, and a unified workspace.

The new offerings will be showcased at the Adobe Digital Enterprise Summit, from October 3-4 at the JW Marriott in Los Angeles, which coincides with the Adobe MAX 2011 conference also taking place in Los Angeles October 1-5.

Adobe also released new support for mobile application development across Android, BlackBerry PlayBook, iPhone, and iPad devices. Updates to Flash Builder and Flex allow developers to use one tool to create web, desktop, and mobile apps.
