Adobe Systems Incorporated announced new updates to Adobe Flash Player, including the arrival of Flash Player 10.1 and Adobe AIR to mobile devices. Flash is the basis for many online streaming video sites, including YouTube. Flash is scheduled to be supported on Google's Android platform sometime this year, with Flash 10.1 slated to make its debut in mid-2010. Flash 10.1 is the first consistent runtime release of the Open Screen Project, which enables web browsing across multiple devices, from smartphones to tablets to desktops.
