AOL Extends Free Journals Blogging Tool to AIM Service

America Online, Inc. has announced the public availability of AOL Journals on AIM.com for users of the AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) service. AOL Journals is the company's blogging tool that enables users to set up public or private online Journals. With AOL Journals, anyone can create a Journal to share thoughts, photos, and more online with friends, family, and others on the Internet. To register, Internet users can go to www.aim.com and download the free AIM service. Features of AOL Journals include: updates via instant messaging online and mobile, Web spam fighting tools, improved navigation, simple photo uploads, RSS support, feedback from readers, one-click access to AOL, hit counter, and rich text editor. AOL Journals is available free to AIM users and first launched on the AOL service in 2003.
