23andMe, the personalized genetics company backed by Google, has raised $11 million worth of a $24.26 million second round, according to reports. The regulatory filing did not list new investors. Previous investors include Genentech, New Enterprise Associates, and Mohr Davidow Ventures (MDV). These investors, along with Google backed 23andMe's first round of funding. 23andMe allows people to explore their genetic makeup online; customers order a kit, mail in a saliva sample, and access their analysis in 6-8 weeks.
