The right tools are an integral part of getting any job done. In the world of digital content tools are plentiful, so finding the right one for you can be tricky. That's why we ask the experts what tools they use to get their jobs done. In this month's installment, we talk to digital marketing strategist, Logan Miller.
What are your top three favorite work related apps and why?
A platform for web presence analytics from Logan Miller's employer, gShift. "I use this everyday as a tool to measure our client's web presence and to determine how we should focus our marketing strategies to increase their presence."
A Twitter tool facilitating real time tracking, organizing, and engagement. "If you come to my desk you will notice that I always have this app opened on my screen so I can see all the twitter accounts I manage at once in real-time. Consumers on Twitter expect almost immediate engagement with the brands they follow, so TweetDeck provides a great product to help with that."
A publishing-by-curation tool. "They have a free version that works pretty well at curating the right kind of content for your clients. It saves time from Googling and wading through pages and pages of content to find that one article you can use."
What is your favorite non-work related app and why?
A streaming music service. "I'm a big music fan, and I love supporting artists. Spotify lets me legally stream all the music I want, and I think it's great that they actually pay artists for their music (even if the amount they see is rather miniscule)."
