Article ImageThe right tools are an integral part of getting any job done. In the world of digital content tools are plentiful, so finding the right one for you can be tricky. That's why we ask the experts what tools they use to get their jobs done. In this month's installment, we talk to Kevin Indig, SEO Consultant, Searchmetrics.

What are your Top 3 favorite work related apps, and why?

Evernote

"It's just such a simple and effective tool to store notes, manage projects, and draft articles or emails. It syncs well with all different kinds of devices and even lets you store pictures and receipts. "

Dropbox / Owncloud

"Having data available anywhere, on any device, is a blessing nowadays. And the opportunity to store, save, and provide documents is quite important in my job."

Pocket / Feedly

"Staying up to date is extremely important in our industry. Being able to quickly save articles and get an overview of new findings and studies helps me to stay on top of the industry and get knowledge before my clients do. This again helps me to consult with them in the best way possible. "

What is your favorite non-work related app, and why?

MyFitnessPal

"I work out a lot, so I focus on sleeping enough, drinking water throughout the day, and of course eating food that fuels my workout. MyFitnessPal helps me monitor what and how much I eat, which helps me to perform the best and stay in shape. I use it several times a day and like its usability: I can simply scan barcodes and enter the amount of that food I ate, or create a new entry. What can I say, I'm all about the data!"
