Thomson Scientific, a business of The Thomson Corporation, has announced that ISI Web of Knowledge now offers links to the HighWire Press free archive, a repository of full-text life science articles. ISI Web of Knowledge is an integrated, research environment that delivers a combination of content, tools, and technology, allowing researchers and information professionals to access, analyze, and manage information. Once all links are in place, users will be able to link directly from any content area within ISI Web of Knowledge to the full text of more than 800,000 HighWire Press articles. HighWire Press is a division of the Stanford University Libraries, which produces the online versions of peer-reviewed journals and other scholarly content. HighWire partners with scholarly societies, university presses, and publishers to create a collection of fully searchable research and clinical literature online.
