Global information management provider SDL announced an agreement to acquire Language Weaver Inc. Language Weaver works in statistical machine translation, which will be added to SDL's Global Information Management Platform. The transaction, which is expected to be completed by the end of July, will cost SDL $42.5 million in cash.
