Wolters Kluwer announced a new executive director for the Lippincott CME Institute and a series of organizational changes to its CME organization, in accordance with guidelines set by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). Directorship of the Lippincott CME Institute will pass to Dr. Karen Overstreet, a licensed pharmacist and adult educator. Additionally, the Institute has been separated from any legal entity directly commercially affiliated with Wolters Kluwer, which will begin operating its commercial pharmaceutical activities as Wolters Kluwer Pharma Solutions, Inc.
