UnumProvident Selects Stellent Content Management
Posted Aug 01, 2003 Print Version   Page 1 of 1

Stellent, Inc., a provider of content management solutions, has announced that UnumProvident, a disability insurer, is using Stellent's Content Management to support its intranet. The Stellent system integrates with UnumProvident's Corechange Coreport portal and a search product from Autonomy to form the intranet's foundation. UnumProvident plans to begin using Stellent Web Content Manager, an element of Stellent's universal content management architecture, to support its public Internet site in late 2003.

Stellent's insurance solutions are designed to enable insurance companies to deploy content management applications that automate content-intensive business processes, such as enrollments and renewals, claims processing, appeals and complaints, and accreditation and regulatory audits. By automating these processes, insurance companies can reduce costs, complete business activities more quickly, and improve internal and external communications. In addition, Stellent's insurance solutions provide an environment for managing business information critical to agent portals, customer portals, and public Web sites. Stellent's insurance solutions are based on the Stellent Content Management system, which provides a single product architecture offering Web content management, document management, collaboration, records management and digital asset management functionalities.
