NewspaperDirect Inc. announced that an online newspaper kiosk, PressDisplay.com, is now compatible with Apple's Safari browser for Mac OS X computers, as well as the iPhone and iPod Touch. Now, Mac users can just point their Safari browser to Pressdisplay.com and read online editions of many of the world's newspapers, including more than 60 U.S. titles. PressDisplay.com makes these newspapers available the moment they are published, and more newspapers are added each month. A beta release of PressReader for Mac is now available. PressReader lets people download their favorite newspaper to a Mac laptop and then read it later, without an Internet connection.
