LEAD Technologies, Inc. has announced the release of version 5 of LEADTOOLS ePrint software that converts from any application, image or document file such as PDF or Microsoft Windows document to over 150 file types of file formats including PDF, DOC, HTML, TXT, Multi-page TIFF, JPG, GIF, and PNG. ePrint Professional 5 also introduces an updated interface that allows end users to annotate and update documents at print time.
New ePrint 5 Professional features include file conversion between formats. Advanced capabilities include an editing tool set that automatically allows adding annotations to files--a way for people to share information about their documents by adding comments and other information to files at print time. Supported annotations include stamps, highlights, sticky notes, shapes, lines, text boxes and more. In version 5, ePrint has been re-designed to include an advanced Workstation application designed to provide more power and flexibility over document flow. By opening the ePrint Workstation from the desktop icon or printing from any application, users can ‘add insert pages and rearrange pagination. ePrint users can also combine multiple files into one single file, or delete pages from the print job(s) before document conversion occurs, as well as configure local, system, or network printers.
